Good Morning Build 35

March 12, 2006

Yet another build hits the Sun Ray Server and for the first time my Sun Ray has ZFS lurking in the background:

 : enoexec.eu FSS 1 $; uname -a SunOS enoexec 5.11 snv_35 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire : enoexec.eu FSS 2 $; df -F zfs /var/cores         (varpool/cores     ):20605238 blocks 20605238 files /var/crash         (varpool/crash     ):80677464 blocks 80677464 files /varpool           (varpool           ):80677464 blocks 80677464 files /varpoolraidz      (varpoolraidz      ):342755360 blocks 342755360 files : enoexec.eu FSS 3 $;

At least all those core files can now be kept compressed but still be directly accessable.

Now we just need to get that file server upgraded and my home directory could be on ZFS too. Any Chance?
