Sunday Ride

September 11, 2005

Today’s ride saw 9 riders leave Molesey and head for Walton-on-the-hill via Leatherhead. The problem with this is in the title of the destination, that is it is on a hill. All so I could run an errand. From Walton-on-the-hill we went down Pebble Coombe hill, which due to the damp conditions and cars was taken slowly (44mph) then down to Rusper and to the Blue Moon Cafe for breakfast.

On the return the group split into two as some of us had to put the hammer down to get back in time. A fab fast ride back up the A24 to Leatherhead and back via Oxshot to Molesey, in time.

Good ride, 69 miles average speed just 16.3mph.
